3D Visualisation
See the dome on your plot (AR)
Open the 3D model of the dome on your phone, click “PASTATYTI” and use the camera to see what the dome would look like on your plot. You can walk around, go inside and see the scale.
The first time a device may ask for camera permission or a plug-in is normal.
Note: The feature may not work in some browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox. It is recommended to use the latest version of your browser.
It is an augmented reality (AR) visualisation that allows you to “build” a 3D model of a ~10 m diameter dome in real life – right on your property – using your phone’s camera. It’s easier to understand the scale and the view than looking at drawings or photos.
- Quickly assess the size, height and proportions of the dome in a real environment;
- See how the dome "sits" among trees, buildings, site boundaries or terrain
- You can walk around and see the dome from different angles;
- Can go inside - the model has a simplified interior (furniture, partitions, windows, staircase), optimised for fast loading.
- Open this page on your phone or tablet;
- Wait for the 3D model to load;
- Click “PASTATYTI”.
If asked, give the camera permission and follow the on-screen instructions; - Point the camera at the desired location on the plot and move around to assess the view.
Two fingers can zoom in/out (as in the photo gallery).
By physically moving around the model, you can see it from different angles and get a “sneak peek” inside.
For the first time, the device may ask you to download a plug-in or to open it via an additional solution to make AR work correctly. After installation, there is usually no need for this the next time.
Some older devices or outdated systems may not work as well. If that doesn’t work, it’s worth trying a different browser or device.
If the camera doesn’t open or the pattern doesn’t appear:
- Check that you've given the camera permission (in your phone settings);
- Try opening in another browser (Safari for iPhone and Chrome for Android are usually best);
- If you opened it in a social network's internal browser (e.g. FB/IG), open it directly in your browser;
- Try another device (sometimes this is the quickest solution);
- If it asks for a plug-in, install it, then reload the page and try again.
